popsibox is a secured and monitored gateway “box” using GPRS, 4g, WiFi connection to transmit directly data from patient to the clinical database.
Most monitoring applications require that data gathered using sensor networks be transmitted to a remote site such as a clinical database server for clinical analysis. This can be achieved by transmitting data from the sensor network to an information gateway such as the popsibox.
For in-home monitoring, sensor data must be aggregated and transmitted to the remote site over the Internet using a secured and patients resistant way to maintain data quality and validation.
The popsibox could be connected to almost all Bluetooth or WiFi bio sensors like spirometer, pulse, ECG, activity, … and also the popsipen.
The popsibox is GPS tracked and all in-box data could be erased remotely from the PopsiCube-Fovea offices.
